The release date is yet to be announced, but I felt the absolute need to write about this film. Before I went to see it I was very apprehensive, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be a total blow out or spectacular. The latter is how I’d describe this one. The film itself is excellent, the story line is interesting and the portrayal or Batman’s parents’ deaths is the best one so far in my opinion.

Jesse Eisenberg plays a fantastic villain, making it his best role yet. He just gets better and better with each film. He plays villain Lex Luther, a twisted psycho villain with a serious agenda.

Ben Affleck plays a good Batman, being able to portray mystery and moodiness underneath the Batman mask is a skill only few can pull off, and Ben Affleck did it well.

We need to talk about Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot creates a Wonder Woman who is an amazing role model for young girls growing up in this day and age. To have a woman explode onto the screen like that and kick butt was a highlight for me. I hope this film makes at least one young girl want to go out there and be her own kind of super-heroine in one way or another. I love a bit of girl power!

Let’s talk music…Wow. That is how I would describe Hans Zimmer’s amazing work on this soundtrack, it is the best I have heard in a VERY long time. Hans Zimmer has out-done himself, gone the extra mile, and created this amazing, enticing, memorable soundtrack – perhaps it is even better than the Interstellar and Dark Knight soundtracks.

Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) has a theme all to himself and this will stick with you even when you have left the cinema.

If you enjoyed Man of Steel then you will love this film. It is just as epic, and Henry Cavill is just as loveable and has kept up his fantastic Superman role. This will not disappoint.
