I got hold of the HMV exclusive CD of the soundtrack. Of course it starts off with the incredible classic Star Wars theme, it would be wrong not to.

The soundtrack is as expected, perfectly written, produced and performed and the melodies vary from sweet to sincere. John Williams has put together a fantastic range of themes and each theme is arranged perfectly.

The film itself was absolutely incredible. It was probably the most anticipated film to hit cinemas in a very long time, and I am yet to come across someone who didn’t enjoy it. Even my dad enjoyed it and he is a huge fan of the first two films, let’s face it, after the first two it went incredibly down hill.

This movie completely makes up for the sins that were committed in the Phantom Menace with that awful CGI, acting and terrible overdubbing.

The musical prescence in the movie is strong with this one (get it?!)…I noticed the soundtrack all the way through and it really did work. But you wouldn’t expect anything less from John Williams, or the directors of Star Wars. A Star Wars movie without a dominant soundtrack would be wrong.

It will blow your socks off, and so will the soundtrack.
